Camp S’more Series: Crafty Tutorial

Today I’m showing you all how to make a simple no-sew project using Ink and Arrow’s newest fabric line, Camp S’more! When I saw this fabric, I knew that making s’mores was going to be a must, so I made a bunch of fabric flag skewers to make my Quick and Easy S’more recipe even better! Supplies: Skewers Scissors (optional) Rotary cutter, acrylic ruler and cutting mat Diagonal cutting pliers Fine point marker Glue stick Washi tape Small diamond 45-degree ruler (optional) Step 1: Cut your skewers down, using a pair of diagonal cutting pliers. I cut my sticks to various lengths, from 5 1/2 to 7 inches long. Step 2: Use a diamond shape 45-degree template tool to create 5 1/2″ wide diamonds. I used washi tape to make marking out 2 1/4″ triangles quick and easy. Once you have one-half marked, then flipped the ruler around to create the other half of the diamond. …

the homebody’s guide to self-care

I was wondering around my bloglovin’ feed last week, and there was a post titled THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS YOUR HOME MIGHT BE MISSING. Well alright then, I’m always down for some good click bait! So off to the Camile Styles website I went, there I found a photo of a glamorous bathroom and a mood board of pretty things to make taking a bath more enjoyable. Yah, yah, whatever. I don’t have a fancy bathroom, and a beautiful plank of wood (bathtub tray) isn’t going to help much. Our only bathroom is teeny all the highlighted items in the post would just need to be stored somewhere out of the way.  Not glamorous! But, I did something that I don’t normally do, I read the article. Shocking, right? In the introduction, the author, Cristina Cleveland, talks about what she and her co-workers do for self-care. Introducing CAMP declutter

If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed that I started a new weekly challenge that I’m calling it CAMP Declutter. My friend @larae_5 helped me fine tune the hashtag for this fun challenge. We choose #CAMPdeclutter!! CAMP stands for cull and make pretty! #cullandmakepretty. Feel free to use both hashtags. My goal is to pick little spots around my house that need to be tidied up, cleared of clutter and made pretty. Little changes can make a big difference, I believe that they motivate me to tackle the REALLY big areas that need a lot of help. Like, my kitchen that needs a total reorg and paint job.
